So cal
My daughter is attempting to raise chickens for ffa. This is a brand new endeavor for both of us. Am looking forward to learning from all the seasoned vets out there.

Welcome to BYC - so glad you've joined us. You have come to the right place - we'll "talk chicken" with you all day long!

FFA is such a wonderful organization (both my kids have participated and come away with such great experiences....my daughter actually went to Costa Rica courtesy of FFA). Is poultry a new area of participation for her chapter and advisor or have previous members pursued it and have some experience to offer her?

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
