Hello all from Christchurch, New Zealand.

I started my small chicken flock 5 years ago with 6 hylines for egg laying, and have progressed to heritage breeds (with such better temperaments!) 4 Orps and a couple of barred rocks.

Recently used a broody to hatch my first lot of chicks!
I think I'm now officially obsessed!


My chicks join my small family, and our cat and dog.. at this rate well need to upgrade to a bigger section!
