Do you get any eggs out of them or are they freeloaders.

Nice looking freeloaders though!

lol I found one egg JUST ONE! I’m hoping it will hatch any day now! But mostly they are freeloaders, can you imagine!!?? That’s only a 1/4 of them! I have mallards, black bellies, Sand hill cranes, coots, doves, & a few other cranes that come to me seed Kitchen!

Also found this little guy and nursed him back to health and his parents came and picked him up 24 hours later

I found a sole duck egg next to my bird feeder one morning and been caring for it ever since! It’s doing well and hopefully will hatch any day now! I couldn’t have gotten this far without this place so I’m so grateful it exists!

I’ll include a pic of my yard “guests” these are just a few lol should go thru 40-50 lbs of seed a week!
