Hello everyone!
I'll take a few moments to introduce myself as requested. To cover a few of the same topics. I am Katie, a 33 year old mother of 2 (with one on the way), wife, and stay at home mom. My husband and I run a cattle and row crop business together and have spent a couple years attempting to build up a little homestead.
Two years into my ownership of chickens, I currently have 12 hens and 1 Cinnamon Queen Rooster. My hens are a combination of Buff Orpington, cinnamon queen, and black laced wyandotte. I also just recently ordered baby chicks: Buff Orpington, Easter Eggers, Brahmas and Splash Cochin. My 5 year old daughter, 3 years old son and I get so much joy from our little flock and look forward to watching it grow and flourish.
I look forward to learning from those more experienced than I and helping those less experienced.
