Thank you for the advice. I do have a third hen that should be joining us sometime in the next few days. I just don't want to overcrowd the coop and run. They aren't terribly big.

Unrelated, but I love your username! I had a dobie growing up-best dogs ever!

You should strongly consider upgrading the coop and run. They should have 3.5-4 sq ft of space per bird in the coop and at least 12 sq ft per bird in the run but 15 or more is far better.

I've had six Dobermans so far. All six of them have been adopted.
