Hi All

Thank you for the oyster shell tip. We do have that in hand and they have already got it in there.
Always good though to hear advice as you never can tell what you know and what you don't

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Good luck with the new flock, bet they are glad to have a new home! Being leghorns/ production birds, they will hopefully keep laying even through they have been moved, but some may stop laying in a day or two, (often they will lay the eggs that were in the pipeline, but then stop for a while).

Thanks for the info.
Today they have been a little slower. Still had 11 total but obviously some just were not in the mood :;)
If I'm lucky some will stop then start when the others stop but shall see how they go.
It's so sad to see them all still walking all over one another I guess coz that was what they have had to do for the last year :(
I hope they will learn they don't have to do that soon.
I've noticed they already are not so flighty when I go see them.
I have been in and out many times through the day so they get used to me being there.
