Hi and thanks in advance…
I have read several threads on this topic but have one remaining question.

My two girls, one point of lay and one mature Isa Brown, will not eat pellets, including the smaller ones. Yes, they like them wet but I find this impractical, especially when going away and they are in someone else’s care.

I am looking to crumbles but I am unable to find any in South Australia suitable for mature chickens. Those designed for younger stages contain a medical ingredient that I assume is not good for adult birds every day.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I just want happy, healthy girls.

Answering my own question here… I just received a call back from my local stock feed store. They informed me that Laucke Red Hen 17 is a CRUMBLE! 🙌 I did not realise this 🙄 It looks like good quality so I’ll pick some up. Fingers crossed they’ll like it.
