Hi,
I'm new as a member, but I've been reading posts for almost a year now. Thanks for all the great information! We are fairly new chicken people-we've had them for almost a year now. We started out with 11 barred rocks, but we are now at 19 chickens and one hen has just gone broody. My son is proud as a peacock because it is his chicken (the only Ameraucana)! We are all excited and can't wait for some new little chicks. I'm sure I'll be combing through all sorts of threads for info on that now.....it really is addicting.
By the way, my husband and I are from southern WV and have 5 terrific kids ages 10, 9, 7, 5, and 2.
