Hi! I’m new here, so i guess i’ll do an introduction! 
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My current flock is my first one, i’ve had my chickens (or at least my rooster) for about a year now!
Harry came to us unexpectedly because he was gifted to a family member that couldn’t take care of him, we took him in, but he obviously couldn’t stay alone (and who doesn’t love even more chickens anyways! xD) so we got a few new hens to keep him company!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently i have 5 chickens! Harry, Tiny, Eclipse, Bitterbal and Veertje!
Harry was the first obviously, he’s a very gentle and kind rooster (even though a bit annoying sometimes XD)!
Tiny is basically the most “dominant” hen, she’s the quickest when it comes to food, is the smartest and is not afraid of anything (a bit worrying sometimes 0.o).
Eclipse is a bit of a scaredy “cat”, it took about 5 months before she even dared to come eat from my hands and even now she’s still very careful, she’s has grown to trust me a bit though and isn’t as afraid anymore!
Bitterbal is basically the dumbest out of all of them, she’s the absolute sweetest though! She used to like cuddling, but since we started medication for her eyes that unfortunately has changed a bit, she’s a bit too scared we’re giving it to her. (Totally fair lol)
Veertje is the tallest of our hens, she’s unfortunately a bit ill and has almost constant diarrhea, she’s fortunately quite active and participates in all the “activities” the other chickens do, but i’m afraid we won’t have her for much longer. (Let’s hope she proves me wrong :0)
(3) What breeds do you have?
They’re all Brahma’s!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Definitely didn’t expect them to truly become pets, because i honestly didn’t know much about these animals before raising them, but now they’re truly my sweethearts and gaining their trust and succeeding in making them happy has been the most rewarding feeling ever!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
One of my favourite pastimes is creating (digital) art! I mainly draw pet portraits and anthropomorphic/mythical animal art!
I also adore reading, watching movies, playing video games or anything else that make me feel like i’m away from reality for a while!
(Trick) training my dog or cat, not too surprising i think!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I’m not sure what else to tell about myself, but i’d love to share my other pets!
I have a dog, his name is Cody, he is a Shih Tzu x Maltese (his “breed” hasn’t been confirmed though), he’s very friendly and loves meeting new people, he’d love to play and train all day if possible!
He’s unfortunately rather reactive to dogs though, he’s very quickly afraid in general (especially now he’s going blind).
I also have a cat named Rico, he’s an adorable “Moggie” that we got from our local shelter, he’s very cuddly and playful, he also really likes playing and training!
he’s allergic to almost everything, but we’re very fortunate that he absolutely ADORES his kibble!
I also have 2 rabbits unfortunately our 3rd passed away a few weeks ago, their names are Nibbit and Bonnie!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
i’ve googled things about chickens before and commonly encountered the forums on here which had really interesting discussions and experiences! i didn’t make an account for a while, but since i’ve already used this site so much, i might as well do so!
