I am so glad I found this site!! There r so many helpful tips, great information and a lot of very smart, friendly people with a wealth of knowledge about chickens on here!! I have 5 children & a son n law and I married my high school sweetheart. We have rescued 3 BEAUTIFUL dogs, 1 cat, 4 bunnies , my oldest daughter has 2 going on 3 horses &2 goats, we also just lost our 1 Angel fish that suddenly passed away and now we have added 6 baby chickens & lots of questions about raising them. We stay busy with our "mini farm" and we do a lot of volunteer work & we love anything outdoors especially camping, horseback riding, 4 wheelers, boating, hiking, gardening, laying under the stars spotting fallen stars, & photography. Thank y'all n advance for all the great advice!! Have a blessed day!

Welcome!

As you have already received links to some good starting points, I will just wish you all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share more pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
