My name is Riah, I'm a nurse in NorCal and I have 7 chickens at the moment. I first got chickens a couple years ago and my flock shrunk when I moved, but has recently grown with four new additions. I have two silkies, a RIR, a malay cross, two blue copper marans that are gorgeous, and my butthead Bella, who is a black copper maran.
I'm kind of obsessed with my chickens. My friends call me the crazy chicken person. I love how entertaining they are, and they can be so sweet.
In my free time (haha, what free time?) I garden, sew, knit, and spend time with friends.
I also have a very fat cat.
I have perused the BYC forums for information for years, and just never made an account. I have a very specific question to ask and wanted to be able to interact.
