Hi, I don't have chickens just yet, I plan to get some in the future! I'm very fascinated in chicken genetics and I want to breed chickens for a living!
My favorite breed of chicken is the Rhode Island Red! What is yours? I'd like to know!

Well if you want them for eggs only you want high egg production breeds, RIR are a good choice for eggs. But high egg productions breeds often get reproductive issues and don't live long.
