I just had my very first chicken hatch yesterday!! Although I'm an ag teacher, I never worked with chickens before this past year...after spending so much time with my parent's new flock and my best friend's chickens, decided we needed to start some layers in our classroom "farm" area!

One down...23 expected to hatch in a week...and my students are already starting to call me "crazy chicken lady"! Very excited to talk with you all through this experience!
