Hi Everyone from Michigan!

My son started getting chickens a little over a year ago as a way to clean up horse manure. Right now we have 18 chickens. 1 guinea, 2 leghorns, 4 isa browns, 4 barred rocks, 2 australorps, 2 silver lace, 2 colombians, and 1 isa white. We have also raised around 30 broilers.
I have come to BackYard Chickens for many answers. You guys are the best! So I thought I would join.

Some of my other hobbies are camping and reading.

We currently have the chickens, 3 cows, 3 dogs, 2 goats, and 1 cat. Needless to say it's an animal house over here!
