1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I’m so new all I have is an empty coop that was here when I moved in 2 years ago.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Zero

(3) What breeds do you have?
I would love info on good layers, best breeds!

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The fresh eggs and the love of chickens.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, Designing, Enjoying the retired life!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 3 grown children, and 4 grandchildren! I love all animals, 6 indoor cats at the moment. Live in a farmhouse on an acre in Georgia.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I wanted to raise my own chickens and love them like your community loves theirs! I need help to do this right, I have so many questions.
