How do you change your profile picture? I use an iPad because my computer is broken right now, and can’t figure it out.

I'm not on an iPad, but if I click on my avatar I get to my profile, then I click on it again and go all the way into my profile page, then I click on it again and voila! The screen to change the avatar.

Okay, so here’s what it does:
I click on it and it says “choose file” But I have no idea how to file something on an iPad.
