I am very new to this and it was kind of an accident to have chickens. I was looking at some raised pallet gardens and along with that came all this info on urban chickens. I got amazed and I looked up on craigslist and found a coup and he also hand 3 hens laying he did not want. well how could I refuse that. so its been a week now and I am loving it. they are very fun and eat up lots of veggie scraps.

I am working on building them a new mobile coup and chicken tractor style. Here is my blog I added the chickens too. I would love for you all to take a look and learn from you all. http://openbeauty.blogspot.com/

Congrats on getting chickens! I bet more and more chicken themes will be in your sewing projects. I enjoyed looking at your blog and your quilting creations.

By the way, a lot of chicken newbies use the word coup to refer to their new hens' home, and I imaging the hens living in a sporty little two door car. Some day I would love to see a mobile coop that is shaped like a coup.

Oh wow haha I was so impressed I spelled it right and now to find out its the wrong word all along. Hahaha!

Thank you so much for looking my blog. My coop will be like a coup as its on wheels and small.. Z
