Thanks for the welcome everyone, and I know what you mean by "chicken math" now! I think I am a likely victim, because I've only had my flock for 6 months and I'm thinking about adding a couple more of different breeds! However, I'm not sure how they will get along with my Asil girls.
Thanks for including the link, Redsox, I am trying to learn as much as possible about the breed!

from California, I have an Aseel hen and she lays pretty regularly, at least an egg every couple of days.

Liz9910: My Pearl lays most days...misses maybe 4-5 days a month. What color is your Aseel hen, and do you have any other chickens?
