Hi everyone! My name is Lauren and I live in Ontario, Canada. My husband and I recently bought a 30-acre hobby farm to bring our horses home, and are excited to raise hens for the first time! This forum has been super helpful to us, so I'm excited to connect with you all. We were not planning to get chickens (laying hens) until the spring, but ended up with an orphaned, singular chick that we found at 1-2 days old. I had to learn all of my chick knowledge very quickly, and am happy to say the chick is now about 4.5 weeks old and doing really well. Looking forward to getting to know you all! :)

Thank you so much!! I have two horses - my 21 year old retired show jumper and my 10 year old warmblood. Also looking to add a quarter horse into the mix. I see you love Doberman’s... so do I!!! We have an 8 year old cane corso but we almost got a dobie :)
