Hey everyone,
I'm a new member here on BackYard Chickens. I have always wanted to join and finally decided to.
A little background about me.
1. I grew up on a horse farm and my dad always had chickens.
We would always spoil them like they were our own and every single one of them had a name.
2. Right now, I currently raise white silkies. I just started getting into hatching out my own eggs, which is exciting!
3. Out of all the animals I have ever owned in my life, chickens were always my number 1. Easy to talk to, loving, different personalities, and always provided us with a good egg breakfast.
4. Some of my other hobbies are fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with family.
5. My occupation: I own my own bookkeeping business and get to work from home every day.
6. I have known BackYard Chickens for a while. It seems like every time I have a chicken question, it always directs me to this website. So, I finally decided just to join and be a part of this awesome chicken community.
