I have so many questions... and over the past few days I’ve gotten so many mixed signal. I just bought on Sunday from Tractor Supply “ameruacan chckens” or so I’m told I’m thinking they are more easter egge... either way im okay with it. Curently they are in a 40 gal tote with pine shaving, water and baby chick feed and cheat lamp. I believe they are 2 weeks old as thee little wings do have feathers. I’m already attached so are my teens Who share there pictures with their teachers.
so one question I can’t get a direct answer about is when these little girls grow there feathers where do I keep the, until it’s warmer out, live in NJ and at night it’s still 20-30 degree days range 40-55. Husband is very ocd clean freak so I know the dust these girls will make will make him nut. Thought of putting him in the coop but he won’t fit, lol any suggestion? I have a total of 6.
