Welcome! Oh my wordy! That boy is huge! There are many things on Youtube. If you need to see it done. Here are some of my photos I took this yr. of one I took care of. They heal pretty quickly. She is walking around like normal now.

Set up your things you will need.

I've only done girls, and they usually handle the soaking really well!

Covering her head up to keep her calm. When they can't see, they stay calm!

Looks to be a pretty big one.

In I go, with a med. punch.

I can see that there is a bit left to get out. There was no runny infection, just the kernal.

Getting ready to put some Neosporing in the hole. Without pain reliever.

In it goes.

Now placing the gauze pad.

Now the vet wrap. Make sure you let the toes stay separated so he can walk easily.

I like to use a bit of water proof tape over the vet wrap.

All done!

All of the girls were curious. :p

Here is a photo of the large piece of plug I got out. Not as big as I thought it would be!

G'dday Dave and Lisa, very nice to meet you. I am learning more about bumblefoot than I ever wanted to know. LOL. I'm very squeamish.

Hope you will enjoy the "Australia, six stated and one funny little island," thread as well
