The first time I seen that pan of yours with new chick's in it, I had asked you what those fluffy gold nuggets were.@KF0002 look she's hooked now.![]()
Leghorns are highly addictive. You gotta collect them all like Pokemon.@KF0002 look she's hooked now.![]()
I hate when I get stinky time bombs in the incubator! I try to monitor for them, at least doing the “whiff test” by opening the incubator and sniffing every few days and usually I can catch them that way before they explode.5 chicks now and one close call. Had an egg seeping like crazy. So glad I saw that before it exploded. That's like the worse thing ever that can happen.
I need to get into the quick processing for just breast meat. Save dog food $$$ and have me eating chicken strips daily. That wouldn't horrible right?
I will take what I can get!Should only need a quick stop with you on the way![]()
Thank you! I really love the Buffs. I have enjoyed them and I like their personalities. I am hoping to instill some of that calmness into a line of Red Leghorns using the Buffs and my red birds.I'll take ten, please!
Man those are pretty!
Think there was 10 when I left this morning. Today is the official hatch day and also a 9 hour work day so better be a lot of crackalackin’ before I get home. Those 2 egg's that pipped this morning finally hatched. They are sleeping and drying off now in the incubator.
