I am new at this. Grew up in a city and always wanted chickens. Now I have some land and decided to go for it. I have 6 and all are doing well. Have read alot of info on this site and it really helped me during building my coop and run, and caring for my girls.

TY all for a nice welcome to BYC. My city ordinance only allows 128 sq ft for the coop and run. So what did I do, I built a 4x4 coop, 5 ft high and put it 3 ft off the ground. And this coop is working great thanks to all the info on this site. 2 nice high roosts, a nice big nest box, and I can get into the entire coop to clean it out with ease. And I knew NOTHING about chickens before I found this site.
