I do hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
 
Welcome to the fix network . Yep some would call it Backyard Chickens . But really it is a habit feeding center for those of us that have an incurable addiction to poultry of all kinds . And the need to be with others just as hooked as we are . And to help others save a chick hatch some eggs .Find some eggs find feed that is more expensive and taste better than what we eat gig.gif One really thinks they come for help but it to feed he desire for one more hatch and to justify just one more bird :thUnlike drugs you don't develop a tolerance to this addiction . :barnieyou just keep going deeper down the rabbit hole . Go ask Alice she'll tell you :hmm:lau I would say RUN GO BACK But you already ate the mushroom.:hugs:hugs:hugs BTW I'm the quiet one of the bunch . Sorry you had predator trouble :hit:hit:hit
 
Thank you every one! I posted my story on the predator page, so if anyone wants to take a peek... Thank you for the huge welcome! :D Glad to be among more crazy chicken people:lau. My boys have already decided that we need a few more (apparently they have already learned chicken math). FYI the cute Silkie in my profile pic is Snowflake, the 7 month that was a victim of an unknown predator. :(
