Hello everyone! I am so excited to find this forum! I am a new backyard chicken enthusiast and I LOVE MY LADIES!!!!
I just got them on June 2015 as pullets. Man were they scrawny and little! We fit all four into a very SMALL dog carrier for the trip home! I have Miss Elsa, a Buff Organton, Miss Jane, a Rhode Island Red, Miss Mario Zelda (named by my great grandson who LOVES Mario and is only 5) she is a beautiful Australorp, and last but not least Miss Peaches who is a beauty of a Silver Wyandotte! They all have now developed their PECKING order and cute personalities! I had no idea this would be such fun! My hubby just helped me winterize their home for the winter in Charlotte, NC. They are not laying yet which I don't understand but I still love them! I look forward to all of you who love your birds sharing all your info with me! I NEED your knowledge share!
Have a great week and we shall CLUCK together soon!
