New to chickens and really glad I found this site! Husband owned them growing up, but there's so much to learn still! Already a proud mama of a 4 week old rhode island red, a 5 week old Easter egger, 5 week old feather legged bantams, and 5 baby chicks of the "I have no idea and neither did the lady I got them from" variety.

Welcome to Backyard chickens. When any of your chicks are 6-8 weeks old you can post photos at "what breed or gender is this," and find out just what you have.
