I had ducks,not sure what breed they were,I believe every bird I've ever had was special......they become family.....but ducks,they do get very attached to "their human"....

Yes they do. They actually use water to help them swallow their food so they go through quite a bit just doing that. That’s how they practice good grooming habits as well. Duck + Water = Happy Bird!

I’ve read a lot about that. While I want the ducks to be comfortable around humans I also hope that having another duck friend will help deal with any loneliness from me being gone during the days.
