I’m new to keeping chickens. I have a Frizzle hen (very small) born Oct 2020 and Cochin Bantam mix roo born Oct 2020. Long story at how acquired them, Dec 2020. But I love them so much. I also just purchased 3 Frizzle hens this past weekend.
I purchased a 10x10x6 chain link dog pen put a tarp roof and put tarp up on 2 sides. I have a coop with a run I pitched from Tractor Supply and a large dog house in the pen. I put chicken wire on the bottom half of the pen and door. I feed them Layena layer crumbles and give them fresh water daily. I give them mealworms as treats and recently gave them spinach and broccoli. Am I doing things right??
