Interesting, I’ll have to do some more research! Thank you! Got him under very weird circumstances… No idea where he came from or what he is. But he’s a good Roo, protected my flock from some hawks (although there was a very close call). However, he has been a little cranky lately…Yeah, your rooster is not a black sexlink, maybe some kind of leghorn?
Yes! You have a pair, the one on the left is a male, right is female.
Are you going to keep you mosaic male?
Definitely going to keep the mosaic no matter what! I’ve got 12 more hens on the way, so I’ll have 19 in total. So a second Roo is probably needed
You have some VERY beautiful chickens!! How many do you have in total? What kinds of roosters do you have? And are those chicks incubated from your own flock? Winter is always a bad time.. I’ve got my flock on coop lockdown until there’s more prey for the hawks in the spring… They free range and won’t be a meal if I can help it!
