What are the breeds of your new 12?

Thank you so much!! I bought ready to lays again, I want to try hatching my own chicks soon! But don’t have a good set up yet. So RTL are the easiest for me!

I ordered:
6 RSL
4 Barred Plymouth Rock
2 Azure Blue (cannot wait for these eggs!)

Originally wanted some Silver Laced Wyandottes and Lavender Orpingtons, but unfortunately the hatchery is all sold out for the season already! I’ll just have to place my order extra early next year or keep my eyes out for someone local selling them!


Such pretty Roos! They can get a lot of hate (aggressive or just plain noisey) but I really love them. Alberts getting a little testy lately, but roosters are always so beautiful! And the crowing screams classic farm. Luckily I can’t hear him from my bedroom lol

I can’t believe the cat got your chickens!! My outdoor cats are terrified of them… Guess you had a very bold cat!

P.s it’s also been so wonderful to talk back and forth with you so much!
