Welcome!
I'm going to recommend three of my favorite breeds.
Crested cream legbars are my number ones. They have consistently been the friendliest of all the breeds I've had. They practically beg to sit in my lap. They also get along well with other breeds. They lay a pretty blue egg.
Dark brahmas. They are big, beautiful ladies. They are slow, but run for treats, and are very easy to love. Their eggs are a light brown, almost pink.
Welsummers are very talkative, and friendly. They lay very pretty reddish brown eggs.
I lied. I'm going to add a fourth...maybe more.
Necked necks are gorgeous, friendly, and good layers.
I love langshans too. But I'd only suggest them if you want chicks. Mine stay broody all the time.
I'll stop now
