I’ve been a lurker on this site for the past since since we first got our 6 Buff Orpingtons. We originally got them because I thought we would save money on eggs, but it turned out that the fun in raising them far outweighs the costs.
The kids love going outside to play with them as soon as they get home from school and walk around the backyard kicking up bugs for them to eat.
We love our little flock more than we ever thought we would.
