Lol that's the same with me I'd also love to keep cocks too but I have neighbours and they wouldn't appreciate the early morning crows :( even tho Elsie my drizzle thinks she's a he and makes a right racket. I'm goin to get afew rescue hens also I went to look at some cochins and she had rescue hens for sale which she gets on a monthly basis for rejoining and I felt so sorry for them. I got in the car and insisted we change our coop for a shed so I can get some :) my English bulldogs aren't so keen when they get pecked by them tho lol

I converted my shed lol, my roo is only 4 weeks, will have to see if my neighbours complain before deciding wether to get rid or not lol

Oh I wouldn't be able to get rid that's the only problem :( lol I love them too they are characters. On the outskirts of our village they have around 30 Roos and once they start there's no stopping them. We spend ages down watching them

To be honest im lucky I only ended up with one roo, although im still not 100% on my polish yet, im still waiting to see what happens, I have my fingers crossed as I defo can't keep 2, well unless I seperate my garden in to 2 sections and get some more bantams lol

Naked necks are very unusual looking birds, you either love them or hate them. They are various combinations of breeds crossed with turkens (no turkeys - just chickens called that)

For a smaller, refined look you can get Showgirls, a variety of the silkie breed. These are from lines crossing silkies with naked necks. The effect is kinda like a feather duster. Very unique and I undertand they make great broodies too.

WELLLCOOOMEEEE you've joined us lol Im from Eastern New England Usa!!! :)
