Hi all. New to this site. So glad to have it as a resource. I'm a fairly new chicken farmer. I use friends yards to raise layers and meat chicken since I don't have room in my yard. It's only recently that I have joined a new friend to do this on our own and We are newbies for sure so I'm learning curve is huge.
I have 33 layers that are doing well for the most part and just recently started our second flock of meat chickens that are now a month old. We've lost 8 of the meat chicks so far and now it seems things have mellowed out a bit.
I'm glad to be on board with this site and have already benefited from some of the forum posts. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly. I would be interested to see if there are others from the Lower Mainland of BC online?
