Hello! My name is Jera. I live in Florida & am relatively new to raising backyard chickens. I bought my first two chicks in early May & now have a total of eight chickens. I have two Black Orpingtons around 16 weeks old, a Barred Rock around 10 weeks old, & a Rhode Island around 12 weeks old. I recently got four more chicks a little over a week ago so my two Ameraucanas, one Wheaten Ameraucana, & one more Rhode Island Red are barely 2 weeks old at best. My husband & I love having chickens & am definitely learning new things each day. I am happy to be here to learn from all of you!
