I have a silkie and a buff orpington who went broody within a week of eachother. They shared the nest and eggs, babies are about 5 weeks old now and doing great.

from Alabama. Glad you joined us. We have two Silkies that went broody at about the same time last month. They decided to share a nest. It was very cute watching them split their duties; one would sit on the eggs while the other would get off to eat, get a drink, etc, then they'd switch. Now, they share the babies with no problems.
