Hi from a newbie

Hi I'm new to BYC, I have only been keeping chickens for about 1yr. I started of with 4 & ended up getting another 2 more & decided on wyandottes but sadly I lost 1 yesterday. This is how i came to find out about BYC. I'm looking for tips & hints on keeping a healthy happy mini flock & so far I have gotten a lot of useful info on here & its just the beginning.

Better luck with your flock from now on! Sometimes chickens will just die of old age (I had one of mine go at only almost three years of age, very young really). Make sure your coop is predator proof and the chickens are eating their food. (We used to feed ours so many treats that sometimes they'd not eat so much of the feed )
