Hi, everyone.
I live in Mesa, Arizona.
My niece gave us 10 chickens last summer, and suddenly we became a chicken owner.
I never thought I would enjoy them as much as I do. I would like to know more so that we can provide proper cares. We currently have 18. So far they seem to be happy

I soooo love my chickens! Never in a million years growing up did I imagine I would have any.

Based on what we were told we got three Buff orpingtons, three Plymouth rocks, two Rhode island reds, two unknown originally. My daughter bought five Ameraucana chicks and five Golden sex links. We lost two Ameraucana babies, but the rest grew up well. Since the babies started laying early February, we get between 12- 14 a day. We share with our families and friends 😊. The challenge is trying to keep them cool during 100+ degree summer.

Based on what we were told, three Buff orpingtons, three Plymouth rocks, two Rhode island red, two unknown, originally. We got additional chicks, and have three Ameraucana and five Golden sex links. We get 12-14 eggs. We share with our families and friends 😊
