Hey I’m a newbie here from New South Wales Australia I’ve been raising chickens for about 5 yrs I have white faced black Spanish, polish and austrolorps I love all my ladies and gentlemen ( though my polish roo is a jerk ) but am having a terrible time dealing with crows this yr any suggestions on how to stop them stealing eggs I have roll away nesting boxes but they still managed to get a few every day I’m open to suggestions cheers Sarah

Sorry about the crow issue - they are too clever for their own good, sometimes Maybe use the search function to see what other peeps have done to try and deal with the issue. If there's nothing, then maybe post your question on this forum - Predators and Pests

Hiya! It's great to have you here at BYC! Sorry about your roo I don't have any problems with crows or I would give you a 6 page essay on how to get rid of them I kinda go extreme...haha! Anyhow, everyone here likes new people, so from our hearts to yours....WELOME TO OUR FLOCK! Everybody here has something to offer knowledge wise! Even if they don't, they catch on real quick! Hope you learn to love this place as much as the rest of us!!!

Hi and welcome Sarah I'm a NSW girl too - grew up at Cowra / Orange. Where are you? Sorry no idea on the crow thing. Are you able to net over the area where the coop is so they can't get in?
