Have had chickens for over 10 years but just getting started on BYC. I heard that this was a great site so I decided to finally join. I have looked at it before but just decided to wait till later.
I actually do not have any poultry at the moment. Trying to find a small place in the country to buy. Looking to find new friends and learn new things.

Hi there fellow North Carolina Backyard Chicken friend.....we live in Wilkes County and today our coop was delivered. No chickens yet, but we will get to working on that. Hope to run into you more here. Any suggestions on finding a great first time chicken. Alot are saying the Orpinton's are great.
