The two Barnevelder boys were taken on Friday by a nice lady and have settled in nicely. But I've had no interest in the cute Cream Legbar boys. And they carry blue-egg genes! But they aren't crowing properly yet so we still have time, before the council comes knocking on my door...

At first I tried to sell them. But now not even giving away interest people. Problem is this season it seems we had an exceptionally large number of male chicks (weird, not sure why) in Queensland, even breeders were not selling them as before. There are dozens of pure breed beautiful cockerels and roosters being offered online for free, every day!

Yep! Eggs and might get into meat in the future . Nothing like quail eggs for breakfast!

Maybe add to your listing that they will make green egg layers when mixed with brown hens! That might entice some people!

Someone else in California offered too. Problem is being here at the end of the world, downunder, in Brisbane. I'm willing to drive several hours to deliver them, but have no takers... I might keep the little one using a no-crow collar and use him to make Easter-egg babies.
