Just wanted to jump on and say Hi,
Just picked up 6 RIR's from Alamo feed and grain, they seem pretty sprited little birds, I've had them for 3 days now and all they do is eat, poop and sleep. I did have one question, how many years will a hen lay eggs? and then once they are done laying eats are they ok for eating? Just about finished my coop but it will be several weeks before they little guys are ready to go outside.
