Hi from Florida

Hi from Central Florida. I have shared wanted chickens and started living the dream when my fiance gave me a coop for Christmas. (Yes, really)
We got 4 chicks late last April and the Ladies are now about 3-4 month's old.
I used this site a lot to help with set up, breed selection, and knowing when I can move them outside, etc.
We have 3 cochin hens and one Lavender Orpington hen. Here's a pic of the Cochins

we now suspect one might be a rooster....
I thought I would join to share the story of the little urban flock. Cheers!
