Hi from Florida!!

I am Sharon and I'm new to raising chickens! I got my girls on August 2nd and they are growing very fast! I have a total of eight pullets (I hope) 4 Lakenvelders, 1 silkie, 1 silver laced wyandotte, 1 cuckoo maran, and 1 americaun. Two weeks ago I inherited 2 2 month old ducks. A white crested Pekin and a black Cayuga. My husband and son are in the middle of turning a play house and dog house I bought into a chicken coop and duck house along with a Predator proof chicken run and separate duck pond.
I'm an OR Circulator and OB Nurse and live on 32 acres with my husband and two sons. My chickens and ducks are a wonderful new addition to our farm!
I came here to backyard chickens with many questions that I've gotten many answers from. Thanks everyone!
