Hi, my husband, daughter and I live in Florida. I am a full-time college student and stay at home mom! We have decided to raise our own chickens, and start a garden this year as well! We just finished our coop and chicken yard yesterday and we are hoping to get some chickens today! Looking into Buff Opringtons, RIR or Wyandottes; probably leaning towards the Orpingtons! I have been exploring backyardchickens.com since we first decided to have chickens and it has been very helpful!! Until next time, have a great day!!
