Hi from France!

Hi I'm an Aussie girl in the Dordogne in South West France about to embark on our chicken adventure! I've been doing insane amounts of research and found this site invaluble! Plan is for 4 'big' chickens, probably a sussex, a marrans, a Limousin and a red laying chicken - they all seem like nice friendly breeds, good layers, 4 different colours so I dont' get them mixed up and they look cute and I'm hoping will be OK to start with! We also want 2 Silkies for the kids (OK and me!!) - I have posted about them already as I've been offered 2 not yet hatched ones of these

I look forward to chatting and learning more from all your experience!
