Hello, and welcome! Glad that you joined. I haven't ever hatched any duck egg's, I only do chicken's. I have tried hatching shipped egg's, and those are iffy. My last batch of 18 shipped egg's that I did, I only ended up with one chick out of it.

Thank you for your input. I'm trying to purchase Mandarin eggs that are closer to Michigan hence less travel for them. But I am very worried

I ordered 6 serama eggs from a reputable seller and only one hatched. Should have ended it there......but I ordered another batch of six. Incubating now. It’s definitely a gamble. I prefer hatching my own eggs. Much better hatch rate. Fresh and I know where they are coming from!

I've heard serama are very difficult to hatch.Are these pullet eggs, or from the real small sized seramas?
