Hi everyone!! I'm so glad I found this site!! I'm Jane and my husband of 21+ years is Brian. We live in E. Idaho with our 4 children (one is already out of the house so we're down to 4), 2 dogs, great neighbors who already have chickens and lots of enthusiasm!!!
We're just starting our adventures with chickens with 16 chicks hubby brought home today!! We've talked about it but haven't done a ton of research because I thought I had time before spring arrived. Then I went to CAL-Ranch and found the chicks are in!!!!! Hubby will be busy after work all next week building a coop and yard for them.
We have over an acre of land for animals and we're starting with the chickens! We've been planning on a mini-farm for a long time and finally were able to buy a piece of property a year ago. I'm going to have lots of questions (I've already posted in the new chicks forum!!) so I'm glad I found this!!!
