Hi there! First time chicken owner, ordered 8 and lost 2 in transit, my blue americauna and my blue andalusian. Also 2 easter eggers passed on day 2 and day 3... (Were not well off upon arrival)... Ordered from my pet chicken... I now have 4 chicks... A blue silkie, a delaware (bossy and doesn't like to be handled) and a speckled sussex, and a welsummer roo... I am in love with my little flock and their personalities! I have 8 more on their way as I write! Anyways, love the information here! Any new momma advice is appreciated!

Yes, my losses were refunded, not replaced. I ended up ordering 8 more, to make sure we at least got to the 8-count we wanted. They are 1 week apart in a 9 ft brooding box... I have lost 1 so far from my second order- with a second on its way out . I'm not sure what to think! I don't believe I'm doing anything wrong! Thx for all the welcoming!
